Cambridge Uni wants to build student accommodation
Planners in Cambridgeshire are hoping to get up to £32m from developers as part of a scheme for 3,000 new homes to the north west of Cambridge.
Cambridge University wants to build 3,000 homes plus student accommodation on a site near Huntingdon Road.
In a report to county council’s cabinet planners say money is needed from developers to pay for new roads, schools and other infrastructure plans.
