Student block plan at former nightclub – Nottingham

Plans to build an eight-storey block of student accommodation in Hockley look set to be given the go-ahead on 23rd May 2012.

The application, submitted by Maber Associates on behalf of Shalis (Nottingham) Ltd, would mean the existing building at the junction of Hockley and Cranbrook Street being demolished. The Victorian four-storey former factory was previously used as Aruba bar and Berlins nightclub.
