Balfour Beatty lands £120m Sussex Uni student halls – Brighton

Balfour Beatty has been appointed preferred bidder for a £120m 2,000-bed student accommodation project at the University of Sussex’s campus in Brighton.

The East Slope Residences project will replace an existing 600-bed facility on the university’s campus with a new 2,000-bed living space, including townhouses and ensuite rooms, subject to planning permission.

Balfour Beatty will design, build, finance and operate the university’s East Slope Residences project under a 50-year contract.
