£60m Glasgow student halls get green light
A £60m scheme to build two large student accommodation blocks on Beith Street in Glasgow has been given the go-ahead by planners.
Property developer and builder Downing aims to build 701 student rooms in two 10-storey buildings, alongside the River Kelvin.
Designed by architects, Falconer Chester Hall, the project will form part of the wider Glasgow harbour masterplan and is due to complete in time for new academic year in September 2015 …
