Bath Uni plans new halls

The University of Bath is advertising for contractors to build new halls of residence for its students, a project estimated to be worth £15m to £30m.

The university is seeking expressions of interest for a new build student accommodation project with phased completion encompassing 500 to 850 beds.

The scheme has neither planning approval not finance in place yet, but it is envisaged that there will be a series of buildings ranging from five to nine storeys built with precast concrete frames …
