Derby Uni buys £3m flats with high degree of quality
Student accommodation at the University of Derby has acquired a touch of luxury with the purchase of a £3 million apartment complex in Allestree.
Birchover Apartments are situated next to the university’s Kedleston Road campus and comprise 30 flats, each with two double bedrooms, en suite bathrooms and shared open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area.
The university is hoping the apartments, which are to be known collectively as Kedleston Court, will be rented by mature, international and postgraduate students from the beginning of the new academic year …
