University objects to student accommodation plans in Crewe
Manchester Metropolitan University is objecting to a planning application to build extra accommodation for its own students in Crewe because numbers have dropped off following the hike in fees.
The university says while it has fared better than average with student recruitment following Government changes, ‘the university is unable to support further student accommodation in Crewe’.
