Students shun Manchester suburb accommodation for city centre

Students are shunning  traditional university areas such as Fallowfield and Rusholme and flocking to live in Manchester city centre.

New figures show a drop in the number of students living in every part of south Manchester, traditionally a place with large numbers of properties converted into shared houses.
