Art deco facade safe as Nottingham students’ flats approved
Two student developments in the city centre have been given the go-ahead by Nottingham City Council.
Talbot House, in Talbot Street, will be transformed to create 205 studio bedrooms, each with a kitchen, 48 two-bedroom flats with shared kitchens, and 136 flats of four to six bedrooms with shared kitchen.
Under the plans, submitted by Kke Architects on behalf of Fusion Students Ltd, existing buildings would be demolished – apart from the art deco front section of Talbot House.
