Anger over student flat build plans – Lancaster
Residents in part of Lancaster are angry at plans to build 70 student flats on a bowling green. Mitchells Brewery, which owns the Bowerham Hotel, in Bowerham, Lancaster, wants to build flats next to the pub. But residents living close to the site say the plans would drastically cut their light and privacy, as well as adding to the area’s parking problems.
