Cumbria university will be loser in fees shake-up, warns union

The University of Cumbria will be a “loser” in the shake-up of fees and higher education finance being considered by the Government, a national student leader has warned.

And in a double blow, vice-chancellor Professor Graham Upton has warned that no university will be able to survive without charging students fees of £7,000 a year for a degree course.
