Students from Queen Mary and Metropolitan Universities could use former office block

A property developer is looking to turn an office block in a town into large-scale student accommodation for universities in central London.

Lowfell Ltd has lodged an application to turn much of Crown House, in Loughton High Road, into 75 student flats, complete with common room, laundrette and gymnasium.
