Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) has completed the acquisition of 100% of the UK student accommodation portfolio operating under the Liberty Living brand from the Brandeaux Student Accommodation Fund in a move that immediately propels it to being the third largest UK student housing provider.

Bowmer & Kirkland’s development arm has joined forces with a student accommodation specialist to revive a site in the centre of Edinburgh.

The proposed redevelopment of vacant buildings on King’s Stables Road will be taken forward by a joint venture between Peveril Securities – part of the Bowmer & Kirkland Group – and Campus Development Management, which has agreed to buy the site from the city council.
