Liverpool Student Apartments landmark building project approved
Two landmark projects that both claim to offer gateways to Liverpool city centre were today approved by planning chiefs.
The schemes – on Pall Mall and Islington – will change the skyline for those entering Liverpool from the north, towering over transport routes into the city.
But the paths taken by each through this morning’s planning committee could not have been more different – with one member branding the Islington project as “like a Berlin Wall” as he urged for it to be rejected …
