Tudor Road student housing project set to go ahead after long wait – Leicester
A massive, unused industrial site in the heart of a neighbourhood is finally to be turned into student flats.
The Grade II listed Fiveways House in Tudor Road, which used to be a textile factory, has had planning permission for 255 flats for several years, but due to the recession the work was put on hold.
Now Emerging Property, based in London, has announced is has bought the site and will now begin work on a £18.5 million student development with a gym, cinema and other facilities …
