Sheffield students’ union works to help students affected by housing woes
Students’ union reps say heating, a secure water supply and constant electricity have only just been fitted – three weeks into the new term – at student accommodation in a restored church in Crookesmoor, Sheffield.
Things hit crisis point last month when a Fire Safety notice was issued to The Heritage by the fire service, declaring the development at the junction of Crookesmoor Road and Barber Road unsafe.
