14-storey double block of student flats in Plymouth city centre to be approve
A double block of student flats up to 14 floors high is expected to get the go-ahead today – and bring a £1.25million bonanza to the city.
Plymouth City Council’s planning committee is being recommended to approve the proposed £16million Crescent Point development, on derelict land in The Crescent, thus triggering a £959,333 New Homes Bonus payment from the Government.
But the committee is being asked to give the applicant, Concierge 35 Ltd, just three weeks to cough up about £250,000 towards S106 agreements, or the approval will be revoked …
