Balfour Beatty awarded £39 million student accommodation project – London
Balfour Beatty has been awarded a £39 million project by Unite Students, the UK’s largest developer and operator of purpose-built student accommodation, for their central London student accommodation development at Stapleton House.
The project includes three main buildings on Holloway Road in Islington that will provide 862 new student residences together with commercial space, reception areas, a plant room, common rooms and ancillary space. The contract includes the demolition of the existing University facilities and student lecture rooms, the construction of an internal landscaped courtyard, amenity space and public realm works.
