Keele University appeals over planning refusal to knock down student block

University chiefs have lodged a planning appeal after being stopped from knocking down student halls, chopping down 167 trees and building 92 houses.

Keele University wants to build the homes on the site of its Hawthorns halls of residence in Keele Village, and then create more student accommodation on its campus.
