Student accommodation given the green light – Guildford
A derelict building in Walnut Tree Close will be demolished to make way for a new block of student accommodation.
The project to build the new block, which will have 141 rooms, had to be decided by a borough council committee as there were more than 20 objections, despite the planning officer’s recommendation that it should be approved.
