More student homes needed in Cambridge
Land Economy postgrads at Cambridge and property experts from Januarys’ looked at the shortage of student housing in the city at a special workshop to establish a bridge between current and upcoming professionals.
Lecturer, Dr Nicky Morrison, said: “It was a good opportunity for my students to interact with young professionals already making an impact in the property industry.”
Teams of postgrads were given five sites that could potentially be used for student housing. They then compiled a case for which of the plots would be the most suitable to develop, stating the reasons behind their conclusions, with a proposed development on Milton Road the winner …
