Student flats plan in Chester given go-ahead

A decision to refuse permission to build student flats in Chester city centre has been overturned.

Cheshire West and Chester Council’s planning committee refused planning consent for the 121-bed development on Upper Northgate Street last October over fears the development was too big and the scale of the building and massing of students would cause ‘unacceptable harm’ to the area.
