Proposed Durham scheme would house 350 students
Plans have been announced for what would be one of Durham’s biggest private student accommodation schemes.
Student landlord Bill Free Homes and developer Connislow want to build a four-storey block on a derelict plot off Renny’s Lane, near the Tesco Extra Dragonville store, in Durham City.
The development would house 350 students, putting it among the largest in the city not linked to any Durham University college.
