Student accommodation group Unite sees occupancy rise
Chief executive Mark Allan predicts long term sustainable growth based on development programme Student accommodation group Unite today reported a strong lettings performance for the 2013/14 academic year, with average occupancy reaching 98%, compared with 96% at the same stage a year ago.
The group, which operates 3,372 student beds in Liverpool at 10 halls of residence, said it is on track for 3% rental growth for the full year.
Today’s update, covering the period from July 1 to November 15, added that marketing has already started for the 2014/15 academic year, with “positive early traction supportive of similar levels of occupancy and rental growth for 2014” …
