Plan to restrict student housing in Leicester
Council bosses are looking to bring in new restrictions on landlords intending to turn properties into student houses.
Leicester City Council is considering an Article 4 direction, which would require home owners to seek planning permission if they wanted to have between three and six unrelated people living in the same house.
