Watkin Jones to create 20 new jobs after achieving £70m sales

Bucking the economic crisis facing building companies in the UK, Bangor-based Watkin Jones generated a profit before tax of £8.15m and saw sales total more than £69.9m.

Speaking exclusively to Business Post, managing director Mark Watkin-Jones said the 320-strong group was garnering more contracts outside of North Wales in a bid to expand and grow.A contract to build Premier Inn hotels for Whitbread is one of the firm’s major tie-ups, as is ‘Fresh Student Living’.
