Up to 500 students may be housed on site of Carlisle’s former Kangol factory

Nearly 500 students could be accommodated in purpose-built town houses on the site of a former seat-belt factory in Carlisle.
Border Construction is behind the £15 million plans, which have been in the pipeline for months but have only just been submitted to the city council.

The drawings show 12 accommodation blocks, three or four storeys high, on the old Kangol site in Denton Holme.
