Asian investment in UK student housing could ramp up rents
Asian investors looking to send their children to top universities could push up rents in the UK’s student accommodation sector, according to student house vider Unite.
Announcing its interim results this week the company said that student numbers are continuing to increase, with foreign student demand surging 5% year-on-year as domestic demand dropped slightly.
