University of Edinburgh to bed in new student flats
Proposals for a new 252-bed student residence at the University of Edinburgh on Holyrood Road have been revealed. The block, on the corner of Viewcraig Gardens, would house postgraduate students. It is next to the university’s St Leonard’s Land building, which houses sports and teaching facilities.
The project is the first phase of the university’s large-scale redevelopment of the area around Moray House. It was given outline planning permission for the whole scheme in January after modifying its plans to accommodate the concerns of local groups …
