Big student flats scheme rejected – Sheffield
Deveopers were thwarted this week in their ambitions to build accommodation for 445 students in Sheffield city centre. Councillors ruled they were trying to cram too much on to land off Sidney Street, Arundel Street and Sylvester Street – and too much student housing into an area where many students already lived.
