Unite ends its housing deal with struggling Connaught

Failed social housing contractor Connaught is to get just £40 for its share of a £25m joint venture to maintain accommodation for 39,000 students, as it officially entered administration.

Unite, Britain’s biggest student housing provider, said it was ending its partnership with Connaught, forcing the firm to sell its 40pc share for the paltry sum.
