Derelict plot to become home of student flats block – Liverpool

A new block of student flats is being built on a derelict plot of land in central east Liverpool.

The site at Chatham Place, in Edge Hill, has lain empty since St Anne’s school was knocked down. A new £15m plan by EHA Developments for a 354-bedrooms block was approved by the city council.

Managing Director of FCH Architects Adam Hall said: “The principle of residential development on this site has been accepted for some time. It is badly in need of regeneration.” …
