Carlisle student and arts village to go ahead
A multi-million pound student and arts village planned for Denton Holme in Carlisle has been given the go ahead in principle.
The scheme – on a derelict industrial site at Denton Business Park – provides 196 student bedrooms and 40 craft workshops where graduates leaving the University of Cumbria can set up in business.
