University says sorry after it runs out of student halls – Leicester

De Montfort University in Leicester has been forced to apologise to students after running out of accommodation – just two weeks before the start of term. 

The university wrote to students with a Leicestershire postcode to say they had not been allocated a room in halls – contrary to what they had been expecting all summer.
