Student Roost has graduated with flying colours since its previous incarnation, as the student arm of Avenue, was snapped up by Brookfield four years ago.
At the time of the £410m takeover, its portfolio comprised 6,000 beds across 14 properties. Today, having opened its flagship Hollis Croft scheme in Sheffield last September, it has more than 50 properties, housing almost 20,000 students in 19 UK cities with a development pipeline of 3,000 beds, making it one of the biggest student portfolios in the country.
