Officials urged to sort out student accommodation issues – Aberdeen
Education Secretary Fiona Hyslop is urging council, university and student association officials in Aberdeen to hold talks about how best to resolve student accommodation pressures in the city.
She spoke out at Holyrood yesterday after Labour MSP Lewis Macdonald raised concerns that issues faced by Aberdeen University were having a “knock-on effect” on the wider housing market for young people.
