Parking row over student flats – Cornwall

Police have opposed plans for new student accommodation in Cornwall over concerns that “irate residents” would vandalise students’ vehicles. 

Plans for 231 student units at the former Cornwall Motor Auctions Site, Station Road, Penryn, have been passed to Cornwall Council’s central sub-area planning committee after concerns from police, residents and the town council over a lack of parking provision.
