I see that local landlords are continuing with their campaign against purpose-built student accommodation (Evening Chronicle 8/7/2009). They claim that students do not want to live in purpose-built student villages. I suggest that they investigate other university cities such as Manchester where they will find student villages which have been in use for some time and which are very popular with students …
